Naturopathic Consultation (Adult and Adolescent/Student Ages 13-18):

  • Initial Consultation (60 minutes): The initial naturopathic consultation involves an in-depth inquiry of chief concerns, family history, medical history, and Review of Systems. Specific testing may be recommended and a treatment plan may be commenced.
  • Second Consultation, including Physical Examination (45 minutes): The second naturopathic consultation includes an inquiry into the progress of treatment and a physical examination. The treatment plan may be altered according to progress of treatment.
  • Follow-up Consultations (15/30/45/60 minutes): Each naturopathic consultation involves a re-assessment of the patient’s chief concerns and any new concerns followed with a treatment plan, and when indicated, specific testing.

  • Initial Consultation (60 minutes): The initial naturopathic consultation for a child involves an in-depth inquiry of chief concerns, family history, medical history, birth history, and Review of Systems. Specific testing may be recommended and a treatment plan may be commenced.
  • Second Consultation, including Age-Specific Well-Person Check-Up (45 minutes): The second naturopathic consultation includes an inquiry into the progress of treatment and an age-specific well-child check. The treatment plan may be altered according to progress.
  • Follow-up Consultations (15/30/45/60 minutes): Each naturopathic consultation involves a re-assessment of the patient’s chief concerns and any new concerns followed with a treatment plan, and when indicated, specific testing. A screening physical examination with urinalysis and pH testing is usually performed on your second visit.

Naturopathic Acute Care and Acupuncture (30 minutes):

These visits are offered at a discounted rate and are ideal for patients experiencing any acute conditions, such as upper respiratory tract infections, colds and flus, recent injuries, seasonal allergies, migraines, etc. No appointment is necessary. Acupuncture (30 minutes): Acupuncture treatments are based on a focused intake and a Traditional Chinese Medicine pulse and tongue diagnosis. Acupuncture protocols are usually weekly sessions of at least 6 weeks in length. Acupuncture is an effective and safe treatment for a variety of concerns, including muscle tension/pain, joint pain, menstrual irregularities, digestive issues, and mental health issues, such as anxiety from chronic stress.

Cosmetic Acupuncture: Facial rejuvenation treatment can help to improve skin texture and colour while making skin appear smoother and tighter, with a more rested and relaxed appearance. The procedure involves the insertion of about 30 to 60 needles, with the majority on the face and head, and some on other parts of the body. It can take between 20-30 minutes to get all the needles inserted, and once they are in, they are kept in place for at least 20 minutes, followed by a brief face massage.

Physical Medicine:

  • Initial Consultation (45 minutes): The initial naturopathic consultation for physical medicine involves an in-depth inquiry of musculoskeletal concerns followed with specific musculoskeletal/orthopedic testing and assessments. A treatment plan is often commenced at this time including, but not limited to, spinal and/or peripheral manipulation, soft tissue techniques, therapeutic ultrasound, and/or acupuncture.
  • Follow-up Consultations (15/30 minutes): Each naturopathic subsequent visit for physical medicine involves a re-assessment of the patient’s chief concerns followed with treatment including, but not limited to, spinal and/or peripheral joint manipulation, soft tissue techniques, therapeutic ultrasound, and/or acupuncture.
  • Orthotics (15 minutes): The orthotic consultation consists of a detailed analysis of foot and ankle structure and function including a basic gait analysis. Impressions of both feet are obtained.
